Look back to plan ahead

Please share the post if you think it's good :)

New year, new opportunities! How did you welcome the new year? Perhaps you raised a toast at midnight with loved ones, holding a glass of bubbly? Or with a delightful drink?

A new year signifies a fresh start in many ways, and it can sometimes evoke mixed emotions as we embrace it. We look back to plan ahead. After a few days of Christmas break and New Year’s celebrations, we hope you are rested and recharged with new and positive energy!

Do you have any New Year’s resolutions?

Welcoming a new year gives us humans a chance for change and a fresh start. Maybe your goal is to try something new this year? Or work hard to fulfill a dream you’ve been looking forward to for a long time? We all have different ambitions, but it becomes easier to start a new chapter when we transition from the old to the new year.

Ask yourself - What did I do well as a leader, and what can improve in the new year?

– Organize things and have everything in one place – Can it simplify everyday life?

– What was okay last year but can be even better?

– What is missing in the calendar?

– We should work more on the results and our employees after the completion of the employee survey – When should we allocate time for that?

– How can I become a better leader?

– What should I do differently this year? Should I make a change?

– Did I do something really good last year that I can carry into the new year?

– How can I help my employees grow?

– How do I build trust with my employees?

– What actions were not taken?

– Did I have good foresight and get things done on time? Or is better planning needed?

– What might be required more from managers and employers in the year 2024?

When it comes to employee health, it may become a greater challenge for managers and employers in the coming year. Acting quickly is necessary but not entirely simple. There is currently a significant focus on sick leave and rehabilitation, while health and wellness are pushed aside and not prioritized to the same extent. Continuously working on employee health and wellness is a prerequisite for achieving better well-being in the company. This prevents both absenteeism and enhances the performance of employees.
